Xbox 360 for birthday 2006

Welcome the new addition to the family, our Xbox 360, with Project Gotham Racing 3. Everyone but Jake has tried it out. Of course, Jake would just want to try to eat it!

I’ve also got it networked so it can see content from my Media Center PC in the next room, too.

My new SlingBox from http://www.slingmedia.com/ is quite cool. It lets me or Meridith watch the tv (or more precisely, the DISH connection) from my office from ANYWHERE else. I have watched Olympics and NASCAR qualifying from my work with it so far.

With my Verizon FIOS at home, I’ve got more than enough bandwidth, so it looks as good at work as it does at home!

I picked it up on sale at Fry’s, BTW…

new iPod for birthday 2005

Due to the arrival of my new 60GB iPod photo, I’ve been looking at lots of iPod web sites. My favorite so far is ipodlounge which features lots of reviews of cool accessories for the iPod. Studies say most iPod users spend another $150 on average on accessories. In my case, it has only been about $40 so far, on the Contour Showcase and an iPoDonut for the click wheel.
